This might seem old going by date, but isn't going away as long as the attempts to colonised India via so called Trojan Horse, or rather as the phrase goes, need to beware of Greeks bearing gifts, which in this case, not Greek but Italian - and possibly full axis - is far more dangerous a ploy.
Here was my own thoughts and comments on the topic, while the extensive drama by the opposition leader - whose citizenship of India is, quite possibly, even very likely - non existent - goes on:-

To begin with, he has an Italian passport - as per information by Dr Subramanian Swamy, his mom phoned Italian embassy at his birth and had him registered as citizen, to which he is entitled automatically as her son - and possibly also a British one, since he did claim UK citizenship on his tax returns filed in UK; possibly others as well, since according to information dug up by the highly astute Dr Subramanian Swamy, his other grandfather might have been a German soldier, possibly an SS personnel (since the grandmother was visiting her mother's village near Swiss border where a German military camp was present with SS personnel, as her own husband then was in Siberia for several years as a POW), so he is automatically entitled to a German citizenship as well, if that paternity is known to say ODESSA or it's dozen counterparts by any name or without; if the grandfather in questioned survived and fled South of Panama, there might be another few possibilities of citizenship there.
In any case the Italian passport existed, was used to travel to Boston where he got arrested for illegal possession of thousands of US dollars in cash without declaration, and there is no evidence of having ever surrendered it, nor any other.
Which amounts to his claim to Indian citizenship a fraud perpetrated against india, since he is not merely living in India , which he could as a non citizen, but - not only prime estate in New Delhi, but - in one of the two houses occupiedby his late grandmother in her capacity as PM of India, but also occupying an MP position, which is illegal; and, this fraud being not enough, he is moreover claiming, publicly, his entitlement to her position as a matter of heritage, as if India were a family estate to be claimed, and that too for a colonial regime!
How about asking if he would claim his other heritage, if it were indeed all Maino, to being interned in Siberia as a POW? Or, which is more likely, if it is indeed SS, is he planning to turn India into a camp run by SS?
India has to stop wearing rosy blinkers of nostalgia about the so very beloved PM Jawaharlal Nehru, and realise, fast, that a great-grandson has other DNA, in this case not merely the lower half of the axis which is Italian, but possibly a quarter German too, so half his DNA is the whole axis.
And now, ask yourself, isn't his drama of playing to the gallery of naive or stupid viewers by doing temple run for elections, merely disdain for India, since it's quite unlikely he was not baptised as a baby, which amounts to his pretension of being Hindu by mere heredity fraud?
His mum, during her rule from behind veil of letting someone else be PM, was all but set to pass a sharia-like legislation, which would amount to any complaint by anyone of the two powerful minorities - specifically those associated with ex colonial regimes - against any Hindu, resulting in the Hindu being imprisoned promptly without legal rights. This right to complaint was moreover one way and did not extend, for example, to even another monority complaint against the said two specific ones, never mind any question of any rights of anyone not minority.
How likely is it he won't do it if India were so stupid as to risk an axis half DNA PM just because we loved his great-grandfather the PM Jawaharlal Nehru?

Allowing anyone in or not is typically up to the ones in charge, and yes Puri is one where others aren't allowed, but there might be others. You might have one in your home, it's up to you to allow anyone or not, even if it's monarch of another country or even your own.
